Yandina treetop getaway

Perched above the canopy in Yandina Creek, this project transforms a bushland site into a light-filled retreat that embraces its natural surroundings. The home sits high in the trees, and one of the biggest challenges of the build was replacing the entire steel subframe while working more than 8 metres in the air. This required precise engineering, careful staging and a skilled team to safely support and rebuild the structure without disturbing the surrounding environment.

We engineered the elevated platform to suit the uneven terrain, installing new steelwork and reinforced supports before constructing expansive decks and open living zones. Large glazing panels capture the forest light, while warm timber details and natural finishes help the home blend into its setting.

The result is a beautifully crafted treetop escape, elevated both literally and in design. It offers a calm retreat for owners or guests, where nature, engineering and lifestyle come together seamlessly.
